COMMISSIONING OF WATER PROJECTS IN SEWUA COMMUNITY

On Friday, 23rd July 2021, the District Chief Executive of Bosomtwe District Assembly, Hon. Joseph Kwasi Asuming, District Coordinating Director Madam Agartha Ahia, District Engineer, District Information Officer and the Chief of Sewuah, Nana Kwaku Amankwah Sarkodie II commissioned a mechanized solar powered borehole at Sewuah. The project was donated by a 9years old Gabriel Anyimadu and The East Farms School Student Council, Farmington, Connecticut, U.S.A with the support of the Farmington Public Schools Community was to provide portable water for the people of Sewuah.

The Chief of Sewuah, Nana Kwaku Amankwah Sarkodie II welcomed members present and thanked them for been part of such a special occasion in spite of their busy schedules. He then expressed appreciation to The East Farms School Student Council, Farmington, Connecticut, U.S.A and the Farmington Public Schools Community for the good works done to provide the community with water. He again shown appreciation to Gabriel Anyimadu for such an initiation which has brought development in the community. He finally pleaded that community members make good use of the project.

The Hon. District Chief Executive in his address expressed his satisfaction for the presence of members and community members. He quoted that water was life and it services an important role in man’s life. The Hon. D.C.E also thanked Gabriel Anyimadu and his team for such and initiation to has provided water for the Sewuah community. He then urged community members to make good use of the project and also protect it with their life.
