COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PHASE 4

Woarakose, Amankwadei, Akokofe, Adunku and Oyoko witnessed the phase 4 of the engagement. Members present included The District Chief Executive and some staff, Nananom and community members and Assembly members and uinit committee members. The DCE had a direct engagement with communities. This exercise was conducted to identify community members issues and challenges. This was held on Tuesday, 5th August, 2025 in the mentioned communities. The objectives of the community engagement were to provide a platform for community members to voice out issues, needs and challenges, find solution and to strengthen the relationship between the district assembly and the local communities. The DCE took the opportunity to introduce himself and also gave a brief speech. In his speech, he indicated that his doors were opened to all to share issues for solution. He then urged members to work together for the socio-economic growth of the assembly. Some of the concerns raised included Conversion of Old KG Block to Teachers Bungalow, Completion of Water Project at JHS, Skills Training for The Youth, Soliciting Support for Farmers, Construction of Teachers’ Training College, Completion of Akokofe R/C Primary School, Unpaid Stipend of Zoomlion Staffs, Evacuation of Refuse Dump, Construction of Police Station and Stop point, Insufficient Street Light, Upgrade Chps Compound to Clinic, Construction of Dormitory At Oyoko SHS,  Inadequate Street Lighting, Construction Of Toilet Facility. The DCE thanked members for honouring his invitation to the engagement and urged them that all their issues will be considered and set to action. Some street bulbs were also distributed after all speeches were made.
