The bridge between Sawua Ayuom and Kodiekrom Kotei Deduakrom which was abandoned for 5 years has been revamped to perfection. The collaborative work was done by the District Chief Executive of Bosomtwe, Hon. Abdullah Hamidu and the Municipal Chief Exective of Oforikrom, Hon. Anwel Sadat Ahmed. This bridge will link two Districts; Bosomtwe and Oforikrom Municipal was in a deplorable state which made it inaccessible to the two Districts. The DCE of Bosomtwe District, during his community engagement visited Sawua where the bridge was situated and was committed to revamp it and make it accessible.
The project which commenced on the 23rd of July was fully completed and made accessible to residents of both Districts on the 14th of August 2025. The Hon. DCE extended his appreciation to the people for their patience and support. The District Chief Executive also donated street bulbs to help deter criminal activities and create a more vibrant and secured environment for the people. The DCE and the District Assembly is committed to providing the community and other communities with the support they need.
