The Bosomtwe District held a sod-cutting ceremony at Abuontem on Tuesday, 22nd September, 2026 to commence the construction of 1NO. CHIPs compound and 3 unity accommodation. The program was attended by the District Chief Executive, the District Coordinating Director, Officials of the District Assembly, the Managing Director - Benchmark Engineering Services, the Chief and Elders at Abuontem, the Assembly Member of the Electoral Area and the entire Community of Abuontem.
The community members welcomed the project, noting that it will significantly improve quality healthcare delivery in the district. The Assembly expressed gratitude to all participants and partners for their continued support towards local development.
