
The Bosomtwe District Chief Executive met with local vegetable farmers at the forecourt of the Agriculture Department to discuss ways of supporting their activities. The meeting aimed to provide farm inputs and establish a dedicated vegetable market for the district assembly, leveraging its agricultural potential in the communities. During the meeting the DCE gave a brief speech on farming. The District Chief Executive repeated his vow to developing the agricultural sector and improving the livelihoods of farmers in Bosomtwe District. Farmers were also given the opportunity to bring out their concerns and challenges and were promised to be offered help. After the meeting farmers were given farm inputs to boost productivity, promised establishment of a vegetable market to enhance market access and potential partnerships with stakeholders to support farmers. Farmers present were encouraged to keep on with the good works to produce more to the communities.
