On Saturday, 13th September, 2025 as a clean-up exercise was organized at the Sawua Government Hospital. This exercise was led by the District Chief Executive of the Bosomtwe District Assembly, Hon. Abdullah Hamidu in collaboration with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene. This was in compliance with His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani zeal to free the country of filth. Participants included Chief and Queen Mother of Sewua community, All Schools in the District, All staff members of the District Assembly, NADMO, Amanano Rural Bank, YEA, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Immigration Service, All well-wishing members of the district and Assembly Members. The Minister encouraged the people to uphold sanitation in their communities
