MY FIRST DAY OF THE BOSOMTWE DISTRICT ASSEMBLY DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE AT OFFICE

On Monday, 26th May, 2025 with a heart full of gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Engr. Abdullah Hamidu stepped into his office as the new District Chief Executive for Bosomtwe District Assembly. This was not just a job for him but the chance to serve the chiefs, the Church and Traditional Councils, the Staff of Agencies and the good people of the district. Formal introduction was made and all office were visited to announce his presence.

His first day was filled with warm handshakes, insightful conversations with the District Coordinating Directors, Assembly Members led by their Presiding member, Heads of various Security services, Heads of Departments and Units and the entire staff of the assembly. I listened, I learned, and I assured every person I met that this administration will be one of action, openness, and accountability.

To the farmers, traders, teachers, nurses, drivers, students, and every hardworking constituent of Bosomtwe, I see you, hear you and here for you he mentioned. He subsequently explained that his leadership will not be from behind a desk, it will be in the communities, on the streets, and in the places where your struggles and dreams lives.  Furthermore, he assured that Bosomtwe will receive its fair share of development but more than that they will restore hope. Because Bosomtwe deserves more than just promises, it deserves results.  This is just Day One, and the journey ahead is long but with God's guidance and your support, we will succeed together.

The DCE finally thanked members present for believing in me and then promise to honor that belief every single day.
