On the 23rd February 2022, we embarked on a roll call base on day care activities, which we normally do in our department. It took place around some schools at Jachie, which include; ST Anthony International School, Freeman Methodist Educational Complex, House of Faith Basic School, Lakeview Educational Complex, Happy Home Academy, Agape Academy, Konadu International Complex.
Three members from the department of Social Welfare, two Revenue Officers together with one Environmental Health Officers made the day care monetary successful. The purpose of the trip was to do a roll call on each school to know the day care academic activities, feeding system, the environment whether is favourable to the kids and to check their facilities.
Day care comprises of crèche and kids in nursery 1&2. Our main concern was children who fall under that class, because day-care is under social welfare department. The monitoring was done successfully with all recommendations given.
