As part of efforts to improve quality education in the district, the Bosomtwe District Assembly organized a sod-cutting ceremonies to commence the rehabilitation of 1NO.6-unit classroom block, office, store and staff common room at Tetreefu and Akokofe Community.
The ceremony for Akokofe took place on Thursday, 17th September, 2026 at 9:00 am, while the ceremony for Tetreefu was held on the same day at 1:00 pm. The events were led by the District Chief Executive together with the District Coordinating Director, Officials of the Assembly, the Contractors (Agyeden construction and engineering Ltd.), the Chiefs and elders of the communities, the Assembly Members of the two Communities and the entire community.
