The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) in collaboration with the Ministries of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) and Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development (MLGDRD) among others embarked on a coaching exercise in the Eight (8) Regions targeting the Thirty (30) newly selected Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies across the country. The exercise was supported by the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to implement an Integrated Social Services and to ensure a holistic service delivery mechanism.
The exercise was based on Case Management, Standard Operation System (SOPs), Referral Pathways, Social Welfare Information System (SWIMS), Budgeting and Reporting.
