The Bosomtwe District Assembly commissioned newly built K.G block at Atafram to improve early childhood education in the community. The ceremony was held on Tuesday, 15th September 2026, under the leadership of the Bosomtwe District Chief Executive, Hon. Engineer Abdullah Hamidu together with the Director – Ghana Education Service, Presiding Member, Assembly Member of the community, Heads of Department and Unit and Community Members.

On Monday, 14th September, 2026, the Military led by the Minister for Defense and Staff, handed over the Right-of-Way Clearance passages designated for the Accra-Kumasi Expressway Project. The President accompanied by the Minister for Roads and Highways, the Minister for Defense, the Minister for Finance, the Ashanti Regional Minister and various MMDCEs graced the occasion with their presence to make it a success.

A commissioning and handing over of Nurses Accommodation and Mechanized Borehole programme was organized by the Bosomtwe District Assembly on Tuesday, 8th September, 2026 at Bonkorkor. The delegation was led by the District Chief Executive in corroboration with the District Health Directorate accompanied by Bonkorkor Chief and traditional council, Staff of the assembly, Assembly member and community members. This project was done to improve accommodation of nurses and also improve sanitation in the community.
