His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama paid a working visit to Bosomtwe District Assembly on Saturday, 5th May, 2026 to cut sod for the construction of affordable homes in Dedesua. The District Chief Executive accompanied by all staff were present to grace the occasion. The Member of Parliament, Hon. Yaw Osei Adutwum and other Executives was present to make the event a fruitful one. The purpose of gathering was successfully accomplished.   

The Budget Committee Meeting of Bosomtwe District Assembly was held on Monday, 20th April,2026 at the District Conference Hall at about 11:00 am. The meeting was held to discuss the Financial Performance of the District Assembly as at December, 2025 and Financial Performance as at February, 2026.

Bosomtwe District Assembly received a certificate of approval on the Medium-Term Development Plan. The certificate certified that the district has been approved for implementation for the period 2026-2029 in accordance with Regulation 18(4) of the Nation Development Planning (System) Regulations, 2016 (L.I. 2232). The certificate was received from the National Development Planning Commission on 18th March, 2026.
