2025 ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT

On Tuesday, 17th February, 2026, the District Chief Executive of Bosomtwe District visited some communities in the district. These communities include Old Brodekwano, Pipie No.2, Nkowi, Obo and Abono. The purpose of the visit was to engage with community members and assess matters of development within the areas mentioned. The delegation was led by the DCE and accompanied by Assembly Members and Unit Committee Members of the communities, Chairman-CREMA, Heads of Department and Unit and Constituency Executives.

The second phase was completion of project and groundbreaking for the construction off project. This was a fulfillment to improve education, health and water facilities in the Bosomtwe District Assembly. These projects were structured on Friday, 6th February, 2026 in Old Kokobiriko, Jachie Special School and Kuntanase DA School in the District Assembly. The ceremony was organized by the Hon.

In fulfillment of the development of education and health facilities in the Bosomtwe District Assembly, the District Chief Executive, Engineer Abdullah Hamidu organized a groundbreaking for the construction of Projects on Tuesday, 3th February, 2026 in some selected communities in the District Assembly. This was as part of the measure to solve the educational/health infrastructural gap in the District.

Internal Audit 4th Quarter report

On Tuesday, 20th January, 2026 the Bosomtwe District Assembly successfully commissioned 1No. 12-Seater Water Closet Toilet Facility and Mechanized Borehole and Overhead Tank at Krom-Adwafo. This was to help improve sanitation in the District Assembly. The assignment was led by the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, Staff and accompanied by Hon. Assembly Members, Unit Committee Chairman and Members and Community members.

PWDs DISBURSEMENT 2025

A successfully commissioning and handing over of 1No. Drilled and Mechanized Borehole was conducted at Nkowi-Nkwanta on Tuesday, 30th December, 2025 in Bosomtwe District Assembly. This is as part of the effort of the District Assembly to improve sanitation in the district. The assignment was led by the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, Staff, Hon. Assembly Members, Unit Committee Chairman and Members accompanied by Community members. The commissioning started at 2:00pm and ended successfully.

Client Service Charter-2025

Bosomtwe District Assembly organized their Third Ordinary Meeting of the 2nd Session of the 9th Assembly of Bosomtwe District Assembly on Wednesday, 24th December, 2025 at the Church of Pentecost, Toafom.

The Bosomtwe District Assembly has successfully commissioned the Aputuogya Market at the market square on Tuesday, 23rd December, 2025. This is as part of the effort of the District Assembly to improve 24-hour Economy Projects in all MMDAs. The delegation was led by the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, the Staff of the District Assembly, Contractors, Nananom, Assembly Members, Stakeholders and Community Members.

The 41st edition of the District Farmer’s Day was celebrated with the theme “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana and secure the future”. The District Assembly commemorated their Farmer’s Day on Friday, 5th December, 2025 at Nana Daafuo ll Mall, Esereso. The program was marked with Agricultural Fair, Awards and arts displayed by students present. The farmers whose efforts provided food, raw materials and earn foreign exchange for the district and country were rewarded for their efforts.

AUDITOR GENERAL REPORT

On Friday, 21st November, 2025, Jachie Area Council of Bosomtwe District Assembly held a meeting with all the information centers within their jurisdiction. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen existing relationship with the centers as well as educate them on the activities of the Assembly, clarify some misconception about their operations and so on. The meeting was highly successful and eye- opening. For more details contact the District Information Officer.

World Toilet Day is an official United Nations International observance day set on every 19th of November yearly. This international day observance is a date usually set by a major organization or government to commemorate a public health or ethical cause of importance. The motion of this day was to inspire action to tackle global sanitation crisis.

The Office of the Hon. District Chief Executive respectfully invited Core Heads of Departments on Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 to an interactive session with Former District Chief Executives in the District Assembly. The meeting was organized in the office of the District Chief Executive’s office at 10:00 am. The meeting was graced with the presence of Hon. Isaac Kwaku Nyame, Hon. Bright Addai Mununkum, Hon. James Fosu, Hon. Veronica Antwi-Adjei and Hon. Joseph Kwasi Assuming, Esq.

The Bosomtwe District Assembly is pleased to announce the acquisition of almost a 4-acre land in the district capital for the development of a 24-hour economy market. This initiative aligns with the President's vision to create a thriving economy that works for all.

Saturday, 1st November, 2025 was earmarked for the operation clean your frontage exercise in all the Electoral areas within the Bosomtwe District. The Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit together with the various Assembly members from the various communities joined Nananom, opinion leaders, Unit committee member and the community members to carry out the exercise.

The Second Ordinary Meeting of the 2nd Session of the 9th Assembly of Bosomtwe District Assembly was held on Thursday, 30th October, 2025 at the Church of Pentecost, Toafom.

The District Security Council meeting slated on Wednesday, 29th October 2025 at the office of the District Chief Executive was successfully organized. The agenda for the meeting was Briefs from Security Heads, Effective operationalisation of Oyoko-Abountem barrier and other matters.
